KAAMS Auto Repair, family owned & operated in Champaign, IL Since 2019

KAAMS Auto Repair has been family owned and operated since May of 2019, but it began long before that. Owned by husband and wife team, Karl & Melissa, it has been a dream in the making for years. Karl has been working on cars since he was 13. Fast forward to adulthood and you will discover that what started as fun projects manifested itself into a man dedicated to his craft. Karl has been honing his skills for over 25+ years. What makes KAAMS Auto Repair different is its dedication to safety, to you and your family. When working on vehicles Karl treats you and your vehicle like he would treat his own family's, with safety at the forefront - and so does his team. Our technicians have been working together as a team for several years and all bring many years of hands on experience, knowledge and insight to the team. Their combined knowledge and teamwork makes KAAMS run like a well lubricated machine. 

KAAMS Auto Repair started as a two bay shop with Karl and one technician. Within two months he had hired an additional technician and added an additional bay, within two years he took over a second building and increased by three additional bays and additional on site support. In 2020 Melissa moved from her full time administrative position to KAAMS Auto Repair full time to assist with customer service and the back office. While things have been a whirlwind and moved quickly, Karl has been ready for the challenge and has loved to see his investment in his business flourish.

We are proud to be building a reputation of excellent work and customer service. We have remained loyal in serving our Champaign community and, in return, have been recognized by winning The Best of CU in 2020 and in 2021.  Through our success, we have also been able to give back to our community through donating and volunteering with local charities and giving opportunities for mentorship to the local community.
